The Japanese Coast Guard indicated that Pyongyang launched what may have been a ballistic missile at night, to be found outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone.
The missile traveled 470 km from North Korea, at an altitude of 780 km, in its latest test, and landed in the Sea of Japan. This is the 14th test that North Korea has conducted since the beginning of this year, and it comes days before South Korean President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol takes office on May 10.
