The Army Command announced in a statement that “the military forces continue in the Al-Sharawneh area, raiding operations of the homes of the wanted men and those involved in the shooting of the soldiers on 3/6/2022.”

Earlier, the army announced that “on 3/6/2022 at 11:00, a force of the army raided in the Al-Sharawneh area – Baalbek the houses belonging to the citizens (NZ) and (T.H), and seized a quantity of weapons, ammunition and surveillance cameras, in addition to a quantity of cocaine, marijuana, hashish, gooseberry, chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, captagon and a machine used in the manufacture of drugs. A force of the army also stopped the citizen (K.T), who provided medical aid to the wanted fugitive (A.Z.), handed over the seizures, and the investigation was launched under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
