The Director General of the Department of Tenders in the Central Inspection Jean Ellieh said that the Tenders Department has nothing to do with the fuel imported from Iraq.

The deals of the Iraqi fuel were accompanied with commissions and brokerages. Ellieh confirmed that the administration was not aware of the deal outside of what was published in the media.

The problem that was facing the owners of private generators previously was the shortage of diesel, however today their suffering is represented in securing dollars to buy diesel, whose price has been set by the Ministry of Energy in dollars.

On the other side citizens are afraid of the new bills of the power generators at the end of the month, which is not yet known if it will be priced in dollars as well.
