Slow walks burn more calories than fast walks

A new study has revealed that walking slowly for a long period of time burns more fats and calories than walking briskly for a short period of time.

Researchers from the University of Michigan School of Kinesiology focused on women over 50, who are at greater risk of developing diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and atherosclerosis when they do not exercise and make sport.
