The European Union’s foreign affairs chief, Josep Borrell, stressed that an imminent food crisis may hit the world due to the continuing war in Ukraine.

Borrell explained that the global food supply is in danger, mainly due to the Russian war on Ukraine, saying that the first victims will be citizens of poor countries, and that the European Union is working to secure an international response to this crisis.

For his part, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that his country has decided to deliver food exports to Africa and other regions through two land routes, to save millions of hungry people in Africa and other countries.
