The tragedy in Lebanon is far from over!

The Lebanese had been waiting for news regarding their missing children, Chady Kreidy and Tarek Tayah, who were on board the heroic helicopter when it vanished from radar screens, before Italian police discovered the dead of its seven passengers, on Saturday.

In an interview with Sawt Beirut International, Lebanese Ambassador to Italy Mira Daher stated that “the Lebanese sorrow does not stop, since two Lebanese men were kidnapped from their family during a working tour to industries and manufacturers.”

Daher pointed out that the investigations are in full swing and we will try as much as possible to complete the preparations and arrangements as soon as possible so that the prayer can take place in Italy for the comfort of the souls of the Lebanese before ensuring the return of their remains to their families and relatives in Lebanon.

“The satellites noticed some burning trees in the difficult Italian highlands, which made it simpler to discover the helicopter and the remains of those on board,” Daher explained in an interview with SBI.

On Thursday, the helicopter took off from Lucca in Tuscany and was heading towards the northern city of Treviso when it disappeared from radar screens after black clouds took over a mountainous forest area.
