To all movie lovers, get your popcorn ready and watch the report

The seventh art has vanished in Lebanon, and going out from home for entertainment, which was for all people, has become a luxury for the rich.

With the devaluation of the currency, the Lebanese accepted to reduce the size of their screens and sound systems, and were convinced with the small screens in their homes amid this unprecedented crisis. What is the situation currently in the cinema, which was the meeting place for lovers, the refuge for those fleeing from the noise of the world, and the home of sound and image educators?

Even the pleasure of sight and hearing was affected by the rule of supply and demand at the exchange dealers, and turned black like the dollar black market.

This place is the pleasure of the six senses, hearing and looking in the hall, the sense of smell, taste and touch, for the sweet treats of the session… and most importantly the sense of imagination that lives on this fine art. Will we recover our senses in this “senseless” country?
