The Head of the Syndicate of Food Importers Hani Bohsali indicated that “the prices of commodities in shops is set according to the market price,” explaining that “there is difficulty in determining prices due to fluctuations in the black-market dollar that occur from day to day.”

Bohsali pointed out in an interview with the “OTV” channel, that “citizens notice differences in pricing between one shop and another,” stressing that “pricing in dollars or fixing the currency exchange rate, in the first place preserves the right of the citizen and then the state.”
