Mikati: Current and imminent challenges no longer tolerate any delay

At the beginning of the cabinet session, Prime Minister Najib Mikati affirmed that, “I am pleased to resume the cabinet sessions after a break, and for the “Together to the Rescue” government to resume its tasks seriously and effectively, because the present and imminent challenges no longer allow any delay, financially, socially and economically.”

He said: “My hope is that our sessions will be fruitful and that we cooperate in a spirit of responsibility away from any disputes, and that we proceed from the fact that people can no longer tolerate opposition, and are tired of differences, and want productive work and cooperation among everyone to extricate them from the crises and dangers they are in.”
Mikati pointed out that the Genda includes lot of topics that are essential for running the state’s affairs and giving people and employees their rights, and the upcoming sessions will be full of basic issues and files.

“We are also in the process of preparing for a special session of the Council of Ministers to approve the executive decrees of the issued laws.”Mikati concluded.
