The member of the Strong Republic bloc MP Ziad Hawat tweeted the following:

“Prime Minister Najib Mikati objected to the budget provisions, as well as the government’s “sponsor,” Hezbollah, who is the genius who set a budget that does not include radical reforms, and lacks a balance between its imports and expenses, and you don’t see any recovery plan?”

“A prejudice in the government’s budget is providing a more than five thousand billion Lebanese pounds advance to the Electricité du Liban to ensure a two-hour daily supply, rather than starting to construct a plan that delivers total electricity with electric current,” MP Hawat added.

اعترض الرئيس ميقاتي على بنود الموازنة، وكذلك "راعي" الحكومة، حزب الله، فمن هو العبقري الذي أعدّ موازنة لا تتضمن إصلاحات جذرية، وتفتقد التوازن بين وارداتها ونفقاتها، ولا تلحظ أي خطة تعافي؟
إنها موازنة السطو على ما تبقى في جيوب الناس.١/٢
