ISF foils Captagon smuggling operation intended to Arab country in chocolate boxes

The following statement was released by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces’ Public Relations Division:

“Within the framework of combating drug smuggling operations carried out by the Judicial Police Unit’s Central Narcotics Control Office, it was reported that a group of people planned to smuggle a large quantity of Captagon pills to an Arab country, hidden and camouflaged inside a parcel containing chocolate boxes.”

The location of the parcel was established by a postal corporation as a result of extensive inquiries and investigations, and it was confiscated. When it was inspected, 27 kg of the narcotic Captagon was discovered, which is equivalent to 150,000 tablets crushed and put into little packets, coated in chocolate, and placed in boxes labeled for sweets.
