The head of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, considered that “if Baabda is fine, Lebanon will be fine today, because Baabda is not fine, all of Lebanon with its economy and security is not fine, and whenever Baabda surrenders to Lebanon’s decision of guardianship, Lebanon will deteriorate, and this is what is happening today.”

Geagea said during his nomination of MP Pierre Bou Assi for the Maronite seat in Baabda: “The Mar Mikhael agreement destroyed Lebanon and took it to hell, and the people of Lebanon will not kneel and will stand in the face of this black project.

He added, “You turned Lebanon into hell because of your understandings, failures and deals, and the Lebanon we want is Lebanon one of dignity, freedom, culture and prosperity. Lebanon is peace, openness and art.”
