Mahfoud: Any MP does not demand Hezbollah militia’s dissolution, represents no Lebanese pulse

Even if there are “128 sovereign and independent representatives” against Hezbollah. The latter’s possession of weapons changes the scales and turns this majority into a minority that submits to his will, said the head of the Change Movement, Lawyer Elie Mahfoud, via “Sawt Beirut International.”

Mahfoud added that we should wait to see what is the plan of the sovereign representatives regarding fighting g political confrontation against the “Hezbollah” militia to hand over its weapons, undermining the importance of the majority or the minority, referring to this militia occupying the presidency, the government, and the presidency of the Parliament.

Regarding the Changers’ deputies, Mahfoud said, “The dispersion that occurred with regard to those who called themselves “changers,” which is proven by the reality of the situation, is that this category is divided into three clear sections, among them those who are under the command of the Iranian Hezbollah, and their presence was glorified by the election of the president of the council and its bodies, and the last of which was in the assignment session And the other, they have to realize that it is not possible to work alone, and they have to unite. He continued, “Every sovereign, independent, and changeable member of Parliament must demand the dissolution of the Iranian Hezbollah militia, handing over weapons to the Lebanese army, and refusing the militia’s participation in the government, or else their voices will echo without result.

Mahfoud stressed that any representative whose position is not clear in terms of the Hezbollah militia is not a “changer”, but rather he is complicit with this militia, and in line with him and the Lebanese people were shocked by the performance of these representatives, and every representative is not represented in fighting the Hezbollah militia accused by an international court, with the assassination of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, he does not represent the free Lebanese pulse!
