Prime Minister-designate Najib Mikati on Tuesday stressed that his endeavors to form the new government are still ongoing, urging the concerned sides to meet his efforts and to cease imposing conditions.
According to Mikati, the persistence to obstruct the government formation process “is a clear attempt to make untimely political gains.”
“Lets us all cooperate over the government file in order to bolster political stability and stave off sterile debates, especially that the Constitution is crystal clear about all matters,” Mikati said while sponsoring the action plan of the 2022-2024 youth plan, at the Grand Serail.
