At the end of the parliamentary session, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri had the final say and stressed  “the necessity for Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri to proceed in conformity with the Constitution, after deliberations with the President of the Republic, Michel Aoun, in order to form the government.”

“The Lebanese people look forward to witnessing the establishment of a new Government, and the Parliament undertakes to assume their duties by granting them a glimpse of hope. I hope that no other opinion will be given after discussing the message of Aoun,” said Berri.

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri held a session at the UNESCO Palace to discuss President Michel Aoun’s message regarding the formation of the government.
