In a statement on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Beirut Port explosion, the Director-General of the National Social Security Fund, Dr. Muhammad Karaki, offered “this national catastrophe that struck the heart of the capital, Beirut, and the whole country,” from the Lebanese in general and the families of the victims in particular, hoping “to get the truth in order to May their souls rest in peace.”

On this painful occasion, Dr. Karaki issued a memorandum No. 60 dated 7/29/2021, according to which he announced the closure of all directorates and offices of the Fund, their doors on Wednesday, 4/8/2021, based on the decision issued by the Prime Minister who declared a day of national mourning.
