Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri affirmed that “the elections will inevitably take place within the constitutional deadline.”
In front of the Editors Syndicate’s delegation, Berri considered that “Lebanon is under siege by the Arabs, while Israel succeeded in breaking the siege against it.”
He added, “I am ready to go on foot to Baabda Palace to meet President Aoun if I feel there is positivity in finding a solution to the crisis we are experiencing.”
Regarding the electricity file, Speaker Berri said: “Electricity is the biggest problem in the country, and until today, the authority to regulate, has not been appointed yet.”
