Ruling system strives to keep Beirut Port Blast truth hidden!

A year and seven months have passed since the Beirut Port Blast. The protest scene along the port was really depressing. Instead of standing together, the victims’ relatives were separated into two groups. what is the reason? Simple and well-known terms. Politics infiltrated them, dividing and fragmenting them.

What is meant by politics here is the Shiite duo in particular. After Hezbollah and the Amal movement lost hope of softening the position of the judiciary, and after the official in the coordination and liaison unit in Hezbollah, Wafiq Safa, failed in the judicial investigation of Tarek Bitar, the duo resorted to the well-known principle: divide and rule.

The matter was compounded further by the fact that the new committee followed in the footsteps of the accused lawmakers and began bringing lawsuits in response to Judge Tarek Bitar.

Does this indicate that the truth about the harbor crime has now been buried with the victims? Yes, as long as the political system stays unchanged. There is no possibility of finding the truth or reaching justice in such a crooked and corrupt institution. Some members of the organization’s personnel were involved in the blast, either deliberately and on purpose, or inadvertently and accidentally.

In this situation, how do the politicians judge the perpetrators? There is just one solution: change the ruling and controlling system through elections. Will the vote boxes on May 15th hold the characteristics of redemption for Lebanon, as well as the omens of truth for the victims of the port explosion?

Let’s hope for the best and wait.
