Two scandals through one day!

We’ve returned, and returning is worthy of praise. Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri reiterated the call of the joint parliamentary committees to convene, in order to discuss again the Capital Control Law. Berri justified the call by pointing out that the clarifications requested by the parliament from the government were provided to him by the government, through a memorandum sent to him today.

Is it true that the government responded to the required clarifications in one day, or even less than twenty-four hours? Are we facing speed or acceleration? And more: Were the pillars of the system agreed to subjugate the people and pass the Capital Control Bill, whatever the cost? The answer is Tuesday..let’s wait.

Meanwhile, the practices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the expatriate elections have become a scandal. Instead of the concerned ministry seeking to facilitate the elections of the Lebanese scattered around the world, its actions indicate a firm desire to obstruct their participation in the expected democratic elections. Is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants a ministry against expatriates?

In any case, when the cause was known, the wonder hero. The whole story lies with Gibran Bassil, who still operates the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the remote control, despite the presence of Abdullah Bou Habib at the head of the ministry.

Congratulations to us with ministries managed from a distance, and with ministers who are content to be mere executors of demands…

Therefore, dear Lebanese: your country needs you, and the electoral duty is calling you. Participated massively in the upcoming parliamentary elections, as “your votes are our legitimate weapon, so we can “extract” them and prevail.”
