Ask the candidates about Beirut port blast

The issue of the bombing of the port is the centerpiece and the stake. The pillars of the ruling authority can absolve themselves of everything. They can declare that they are against corruption and that their hands are not tainted with public money. They can also announce that they wanted to achieve reform and transfer Lebanon from one situation to another, but there are other political forces that confronted them and “they weren’t permitted.” They can also make as many promises as they want, which are difficult, if not impossible, to be fulfilled.

All this is understood and falls within the framework of traditional electoral battles. But what we will not understand is that some electoral programs do not include a clear and explicit demand for justice for the crime, which is an intentional and deliberate matter for some political and partisan forces.

Therefore, what is required of the Lebanese is clear: Retribution from the pillars of the system who participated in one way or another in the killing of more than two hundred victims, the wounding of thousands, and the destruction of half of the capital. This can only be done through the ballot box. And by withholding votes from the parties and forces that still prevent the judicial investigator from completing his investigations.

Therefore, Lebanese: your country needs you, and the electoral duty is calling you. Participated massively in the upcoming elections, as “your voices are our legitimate weapon, so we can extract them and prevail.”
