Dear designate Prime Minister, apologize ‎immediately for not forming the government, because the situation is no longer tolerable. We know very well that the decision is tough on you. You are basically not famous for making decisions, and you are betting strongly on returning to the Serail to regain some of what you lost in all aspects. You imagined yourself at a certain moment that you are the savior and that you are the solution, but the bitter truth is that you have become the problem and that the homeland needs someone to rescue it from you.

Harsh words, perhaps, but it expresses the truth and reality, as how can you, Mr. President-designate, form a government while you are not supported by the Arab, Gulf, nor internationally. Countries that have experienced you in power and opposition for over the past 15 years have lost confidence in you and have learned with certainty that you cannot be successful, neither in government nor in opposition. Even France, which was like a kind mother to you, felt that you had let her down, and her foreign minister almost never with met you in the Pine Palace, if not for the tremendous pressure exerted on him in order to make a meeting to save you, no more, no less.

Dear designate Prime Minister, you made a hellish deal five years ago with President Michel Aoun and his son-in-law, Gebran Bassil, in which you gave up everything and sold your role and your powers for the sake of small personal interests. The settlement that brought Michel Aoun to the presidency was the result of commercial talks, no more, no less, that were held in Paris between two parties, you and Nader Hariri on the one hand, and Gebran Bassil and his aides on the other hand, under the auspices of Mr. Alaa Al-Khawaja. Have you finally realized where this infernal bargain has taken us? Did you finally realize that the state is not run with a “business” mentality, nor with a mentality of quotas, deals and benefits?

Dear designate Prime Minister, ‎the homeland is waiting for you to take a historic position, so take it before it is too late. Save what is left of your balance with the people and save what is left of the people in this country and do not remain as you were always during the era of Michel Aoun: “A witness that did not see anything”. In short, you have made a major and essential contribution through the cursed deal in bringing us to the disaster that we are in, so do not contribute to bringing us to the hell that Michel Aoun promised us.
