Lebanese authorities kill their citizens three times!

In Lebanon, everything is exploited politically. Even human tragedies become a substance to increase popularity, especially if we are on the verge of elections. What happened in Tripoli is condemned in every sense, and constitutes a human tragedy. Instead of politicians being silent and ashamed because they are the main ones responsible for what happened, the expressions of condemnation escalated from them from all sides, until we started to think that we were responsible for what happened, not the corrupt system.

Moreover, some politicians took advantage of the tragedy to target the army and its leader, General Joseph Aoun.
Of course, their purpose isn’t to discover the truth about what happened at sea on Saturday night, but to undermine the army chief’s chances in the presidential election, which will begin shortly after the parliamentary elections.

What is this system that kills its own people three times? The first is by impoverishing and humiliating him, the second by forcing him to illegally emigrate, which exposes him to death, and the third by exploiting his death to achieve cheap and petty authoritarian goals?

Therefore, dear Lebanese: Your country needs you, and the electoral duty is calling you. Participate extensively in the elections, as “your voices are our legitimate weapon”.
