Here is why 2022 elections are crucial!

In every sense, the 2022 elections are crucial and fateful. It is not only related to political and economic decisions, but also to national and entity decisions. The electoral battle revolves around two poles: Hezbollah and its allies, who seek to change the face and orientations of Lebanon, and the group of sovereigns who have remained defiant in the face of Iranian hegemony over Lebanon. The yellow party’s goal in all of its electoral activity is to achieve the following:

The first is that he and his allies secure 86 of the 128 deputies, allowing him to control major decisions in the Parliament, particularly in presidential elections, which will take place four and a half months after the parliamentary elections.

The second goal of the party is for it and its allies to control the sectarian pact. This explains the anti-Walid Jumblatt campaign. The party is dominated by Shiites, and it has powerful Sunni and Christian allies, but it still requires Druze legitimacy. It is a legitimacy that can only be secured by the election of a number of Druze candidates to oppose Walid Jumblatt’s Druze bloc.

Will Hezbollah be able to achieve its two strategic goals, consolidating political control over Lebanon? It is the central question, and the current elections are crucial in this regard.

As a result, Lebanese, your country needs you, and your electoral duty is calling. They overwhelmingly supported the fateful entitlement, “Your votes are our legitimate weapon for us to sit and stay.”
