In today’s news bulletin:
It is the most corrupt system in Lebanon’s history, and it is the rudest political class in the world; most of the people live in poverty and indignity; a large number of them were also murdered on August 4th; another category was injured, and some of them were left with disabilities or permanent disabilities; a third of the capital was destroyed; and despite this, our rulers, officials, and politicians continue to rule.
How cheap you are, Sirs, how could you forget that victims and injured individuals because of the Blast were living without immunity because of your negligence, corruption, and flaws. How could you forget that immunities are not acquired or taken from books, laws, or constitutions, but from people’s love and trust?
Judiciary’s final decision will eventually be delivered. If you hold out for a year after the insane explosion, you will certainly fall, if not tomorrow, then the day after tomorrow, because history moves forward, not backward.
For the victims’ families, we say: What happens tomorrow is crucial, but what happens the day after tomorrow and the day after that is even more vital. The movement must not come to a halt. Our politicians want us to close the case because they are constantly trying to get around judicial investigator Tarek Bitar and his unprecedented courageous rulings. Support it and gain public support for it because it has no political or official backing and people will stick with you until the finish. Because you are a symbol of oppression, and our officials are a sign of darkness, people believe in your cause. People want the small country to be free of the murdering criminal mafia, and the blood of your children will be the flame of liberty.
