According to TankerTrackers, a third Iranian gasoline cargo is on its way to Syrian ports, where it will be transferred to Lebanon later.
This comes only hours after the Lebanese government rejected an Iranian gasoline shipment request, calling it a breach of the country’s sovereignty.
And, according to the media, Prime Minister Najib Mikati did not request any fuel shipments from Iran to alleviate the fuel situation. This comes after Iranian officials claimed that at the request of the Lebanese government, Tehran transferred gasoline shipments to Lebanon via Syria.
