Israel had performed maneuvers on the northern front simulating a conflict with Hezbollah, according to Al-Hadath sources, which included calling up 22,000 reserve officers.

According to the sources, Israel began fortifying homes in the border settlements with Lebanon.

In addition, the sources said, “Iran is reducing its forces in Syria and strengthening its militias, and the number of its forces in Syria is estimated at 22,000.”

The sources added that “Iran is intensifying attempts to introduce and smuggle qualitative weapons to Hezbollah in Syria.”
