Representative of the fuel distributors, Fadi Abu Shakra, asked the Ministry of Energy: “Why was the fuel price schedule issued today, even though nothing has changed since yesterday?”

He refused the issuance of the schedule on a daily basis, calling in his name and on behalf of the fuel distributors and station owners, upon the Minister of Energy and the General Directorate of Oil, that the schedule be issued once or twice a week, to be able to purchase fuel on a specific basis that does not fluctuate daily, considering that “issuing the schedule daily is a bankruptcy process for the owners of the stations,” adding “We are not able to change the counters and change the prices daily.”
