Minister of Health, Firas Abyad, tweeted on his Twitter account: “There is no doubt that the current situation of controling the spread of COVID-19 at the airport is unhealthy and needs treatment, but we need to put in place scientific measures to preserve safety and public health by controlling the spread of infection, with financial transparency and avoiding fatigue of the citizen or visitor, this is what we are currently working on.”

لا شك ان الوضع الحالي لضبط انتشار الكورونا على المطار هو غير سليم، وبحاجة للمعالجة. لكن نحتاج قبلا الى وضع اجراءات مرتكزة على اسس علمية، تحافظ على السلامة والصحة العامة من خلال ضبط انتشار العدوى، مع وجود شفافية مالية وتجنب ارهاق المواطن او الزائر. هذا ما نعمل عليه حاليًا.
