The Advisor to Sheikh Bahaa Hariri and Chairman CEO at Sawt Beirut International, Jerry Maher, stated in a series of tweets on his official Twitter account, the following:
“Syrian regime’s members in Lebanon are peddling quite well misrepresentations that are utterly useless because they totally ignore our well-established position towards this regime, which has been in place for sixteen years since its army left Lebanon. In the event that their goal is to distort or destabilize the institutions of legitimacy, they will undoubtedly fail to achieve their goals!”

“In light of the current systematic government policies, Bahaa Rafik Hariri was straightforward and steadfast in addressing the corrupt system and Hezbollah, oblivious to every initiative taken to obstruct his path to saving Lebanon and extending a confidence boost to the people who are suffering all of the economic and social crises they are witnessing today. In the midst of all that occurs, we will continue to emphasize our commitment to sovereignty, freedom, and independence, which will stand alone as an unbreakable barricade in the face of these opponents,” Maher added.

“We will not forget the Syrian regime’s destructive involvement in erecting barriers during the time of martyr Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. This negative role was the cause of Lebanon’s and its people’s depletion of capabilities, preventing them from building their nation, its stability, and independence,” Maher concluded.
