The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Charbel Wehbe, met with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beirut, Muhammad Jalal Firozinya, and they reviewed issues of common interest and ways to improve and deepen bilateral relations between the two countries.

This meeting comes after the Iranian ambassador refrained from coming to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and answering Wehbe’s summons, to question him about the Iranian Al-Alam channel’s abuse of the Maronite Patriarch.
