Agriculture Minister, Abbas Hajj Hassan, on Tuesday received in his office at the ministry Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Yasser Alawi, in the presence of the Ministry’s Director General, Louis Lahoud.

Discussions reportedly touched on bolstering agricultural cooperation between Lebanon and Egypt, especially in terms of agricultural exchange.

On emerging,  Ambassador Alawi announced that his country will continue to help Lebanon at all levels, especially in the agricultural domain, announcing that Egypt will continue to import Lebanese apples throughout the year.
