Deputy Prime Minister, Caretaker Minister of Defense and Acting Foreign Minister Zeina Akar’s Press Office on Wednesday denied reports claiming that she had met, away from the media limelight, with World Bank and International Monetary Fund representatives to discuss Lebanon’s monetary and economic situation.

Akar’s office dismissed the aforementioned news as utterly fake and unfounded, urging local media to be more meticulous in reporting news.
