President Michel Aoun, telegraphed the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria’s president, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, condoling the late Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, “whose long experience earned him the power of persuasion, clarity of vision and the right approach, and left in the conscience of the Arab and Islamic world a decent imprint.”

President Aoun described President Bouteflika as “supporter of Lebanon, the unity of its people and the integrity of its land, which has achieved a special place for him in the memory of the Lebanese.”

He offered his condolences to his Algerian counterpart, the family of the late and the brotherly Algerian people, asking the Almighty to have mercy on his soul.
