On the fourth anniversary of the army’s victory in the “Fajr el Jouroud” battle, President Michel Aoun stated that the victory would not have been possible without the martyrs who gave their lives to protect the Lebanese people and their land, and if security coordination between all institutions had not contributed to the detection and elimination of terrorists.

Aoun urged the army and security forces to be on the lookout for any terrorist action or plot involving the use of difficult economic conditions to sow confusion and disruption in order to achieve external interests.

He also urged Lebanese to unify behind their military and security institutions so that those wanting to hinder any endeavor to rise and restore stability for the Lebanese do not get the chance.
