The Lebanese Army announced on Twitter that “Army Commander General Joseph Aoun met at the Pentagon with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, where they discussed a range of issues, including common challenges, and ways to enhance coordination in areas of common interests.
He also met with the commander of the US Central Command, General Kenneth Mckenzie, at the headquarters in Tampa, Florida.
