The Army Command posted a video on Twitter showing helicopters from the Lebanese Army, backed up by military troops, assisting in the efforts to put out the fire that broke out last night in the woods of Btermaz-Denniyeh and prevent its spread.

In addition, the Disaster Risk Management Unit in Al Saraya announced that the unit’s national operations room had been activated, and the fire was being investigated in Btermaz in collaboration with the relevant ministries and agencies, as well as the Minister of Environment, who visited on Wednesday morning the scene of the fire.
