Sheikh Baha al-Hariri tweeted on his Twitter account: The decision taken by the US Treasury to impose sanctions on individuals and entities that facilitate Hezbollah financing is an important decision.
The international resolutions must be implemented immediately and the illegal weapons that threat the Lebanese security ​and the opportunity to build one strong and inclusive state must be withdrawn.

يعتبر القرار الذي اتّخذته الخزانة الأميركية بفرض عقوبات على شخصيات وكيانات تسهل تمويل حزب الله، قرارًا هامًا. يجب تنفيذ القرارات الدولية فوراً وسحب السلاح غير الشرعي الذي يشكل تهديداً لأمن كل اللبنانيين ويقوّض فرصة بناء دولة واحدة قوية وجامعة.
