In light of recent tensions Lebanon is facing after the statements delivered by Minister of Information Georges Kordahi, Sheikh Bahaa Al Hariri tweeted:

“We appreciate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states for embracing the Lebanese community and differentiating them from the quota and sectarianism system that has wreaked havoc on Lebanon’s relations with its Arab neighbors. As a result, we demand the resignation of Lebanon’s quota government, not merely the dismissal of the Information Minister.”

نشكر المملكة العربية السعودية ودول الخليج على إحتضانها الجالية اللبنانية والتمييز بينهم وبين منظومة المحاصصة والطائفية التي تسببت بتدهور مريع للعلاقات بين لبنان وأشقائه العرب. لذا نطالب بإستقالة حكومة المحاصصة في لبنان وليس إقالة الوزير فقط.
