The Head of the General Labor Union, Bchara Asmar expressed “support for the strike carried out by the workers of the Tripoli municipality,” and demanded to grant them their rights and obtain the monthly assistance that was previously approved in the public sector and on social assistance approved by the Tripoli municipal council, in addition to hospitalization and family allocations.” He urged the Minister of the Interior to “accelerate the signing of this aid due to its positive influence on the lives of workers in this difficult economic period.”
