Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, on Monday received at the Second Presidency in Ain El-Tineh former Druze Unitarian Community Sheikh Aql, Naim Hassan.

Speaker Berri also welcomed Minister of Public Health, Dr. Firas Al-Abyad, with discussions reportedly touching on thje country’s general situation and the prevailing health conditions in the country.

This afternoon, Berri chaired a meeting of the Parliament bureau body, in the presence of Vice Speaker Elie Firzli and MPs Alan Aoun, Hadi Abou el-Hessen, Samir Jisr, and Michel Moussa.

The meeting touched on the draft laws and proposals which will be included on the agenda of the upcoming legislative session.

On the other hand, Berri called for a legislative session to be held on Thursday, October 28, at 11 a.m., at the UNESCO palace, to study draft laws and proposals on the agenda.
