Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, met with Australian Ambassador Andrew Barnes to discuss Lebanon’s situation and bilateral relations. Later, Berri discussed the political and field developments in the south, focusing on Israeli aggression, with former Minister Elias Murr.
They addressed the vacuum in the leadership of the Lebanese Army and the presidency.
Murr emphasized Berri’s commitment to preventing a vacuum in the army leadership. In a Parliament Bureau meeting, they reviewed the agenda for the upcoming legislative session.
