The Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Bukhari affirmed that “bidding on the Kingdom’s position regarding the Palestinian question is a losing game.” In an interview with LBCI, he added that “Saudi Arabia calls on the International Community to assume its responsibilities in the face of Israel’s continuing abuses, the most recent of which are efforts to seize Jerusalemites’ homes and widespread arrest campaigns.”

“Saudi Arabia plays a critical role in bolstering the Palestinian people in resolving and achieving their goals of establishing an independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, and is seeking peace in the region, because it believes in its Arab and Islamic obligations and responsibilities,” Bukhari confirmed.
