The black dollar opened this Friday morning, between 45,900 pounds for sale and 46,000 pounds for purchase.

In this context, the economist Louis Hobeika indicated, via the “Akhbar Al-Youm” agency, that the continuous rise of the dollar is the result of the “black” political situation and the absence of any horizon for a solution, which pushes people to buy dollars and pay the price of their purchases in dollars as well, pointing out that the Lebanese pound “Lira” market has become tight.
