Tuesday’s weather is expected to be cloudy in general with a strong and rapid drop of temperature degrees starting from the afternoon, according to the Civil Aviation meteorological department.
“Blustery winds are expected to reach 70 km/h with torrential rains at night,” the department said, noting that thunderstorms, floods and snow at an altitude of 1200 or less are likely to follow, especially in northern and inland areas.
The weather forecast also indicated the following:
Coastal temperatures: 13 to 21 degrees Celsius
Mountainous temperatures: 4 to 15 degrees Celsius
Inland temperatures: 4 to 15 degrees Celsius
Surface winds: Southwesterly, with speeds hovering between 15 and 35 km/hr
Visibility: Good in general, worsens at high altitudes due to fog
Coastline humidity: 55% to 75%
Sea: Low waves; water temperature is at 20 degrees Celsius
