Bukhari meets Lebanese-Saudi business council delegation, congratulates on Saudi Arabia’s winning bid to host riyadh expo 2030

On Thursday, Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, received a delegation from the Lebanese-Saudi Business Council led by its president, Raouf Abu Zaki. The delegation congratulated Saudi Arabia on winning the bid to host the World Expo 2030 in Riyadh.

Abu Zaki highlighted that the Kingdom’s selection to host the event is an international acknowledgment of its progress and a testament to its achievements over the past decade. He praised the economic diplomacy led by Saudi Arabia’s leadership, emphasizing the nation’s prominent regional and international standing.

Ambassador Bukhari expressed appreciation for Lebanon’s supportive stance during the Expo elections, considering it comprehensive support for the Kingdom. He thanked all Lebanese leaderships for their position, specifically noting Lebanon’s approval in the first round despite tempting offers from competing countries. Bukhari conveyed gratitude, expressing hope that the Lebanese pavilion would stand out as one of the most distinguished at the Expo.
