City Blu issued a clarification statement about what was has been circulated in some media outlets about a problem in the Naameh landfill and the gases emitted from it, and indicated that it is “not concerned with the landfill or any tender conducted in this regard.”

The statement added that the company, upon the Council for Development and Reconstruction’s request, has visited the landfill to assist in addressing and solve the problem. The had submitted a price offer to the CDR for a period of one month, until radical solutions were reached by opening a tender for this regard.

Accordingly, the company confirms that it does not bear any responsibility for everything that happens, especially that the Naameh landfill is more than two decades old, and it is not concerned with it in any way.
