Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen stated this Sunday morning that it is necessary to force Hezbollah to withdraw from southern Lebanon.”
Cohen indicated that “there is a chance to avoid war in Lebanon, and if the international community fails to remove Hezbollah from the borders, we will act alone.”
Cohen’s remarks come as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also threatened Hezbollah yesterday, Saturday.
Netanyahu said during a press conference: “We seek to achieve deterrence against the party in the north either through a political process or by other means,” according to his expression.
