Caretaker Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, said at the meeting of the Supreme Defense Council today that, “this explosion is the result of corruption that has become the norm in the country, and the blood of the martyrs who fell today and the wounded is the responsibility of all the corrupt who monopolize, hoard, smuggle and deprive people.”

He added: “The disaster that occurred today in Akkar affected all of Lebanon, and it gives a warning to all those who sold their conscience and contribute to increasing the suffering of the Lebanese.”
