Caretaker Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, received a congratulatory cable on the occasion of the Blessed Month of Ramadan from Kuwaiti Prime Minister, Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, during which he praised the close brotherly and historical ties between the two countries.  The Kuwaiti Prime Minister affirmed his country’s keenness to strengthen bilateral relations, and wished the Arab and Islamic nations continued blessings of security, wellness, goodness and stability.

Premier Diab also received a similar cable from the Prime Minister of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelaziz Djerad, in which he affirmed that he would work to strengthen brotherly ties and cooperation between Lebanon and Algeria in a way that would benefit both countries.
