Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon: Beirut Arab University and its students have our full support

Yasser Alawi, Egypt’s ambassador to Lebanon, reaffirmed “Egypt’s historic commitment to supporting Beirut Arab University and its students,” citing the university as “one of the most visible evidences of the depth of scientific and cultural relations and the optimal investment of Egyptian policy in Lebanon.”

During his meeting with Dr. Amr Jalal El-Adawy, the President of Beirut Arab University, the Deans’ Council, and student representatives in the University Council, as well as a group of university students who trained in Egyptian factories and companies last summer as part of a program organized by the Egyptian-Lebanese Business Council, Alawi considered that any student at the university for the past six decades serves an ambassador for Egyptian culture.

During the conference, they discussed methods to improve scientific and cultural collaboration between Egypt and Lebanon, as well as expanding the number of training scholarships for university students in Egypt.
